Changes to student tailgating policy

Fan safety is a top priority at UNLV Football tailgating and games.
Policies and procedures related to tailgating, alcohol, parking, and fan conduct in the tailgating area and Sam Boyd Stadium are designed to help guide fans’ event planning and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
In addition to the Rebels Football Fan Policies, the following policies and procedures will be in place, effective immediately, for UNLV Football games at Sam Boyd Stadium:
ADMISSION TO STAR NURSERY FIELD
- Foot traffic will be permitted in the Star Nursery Field with a game ticket and proper ID.
- A wrist band is required for alcohol consumption in the area. Wrist bands will be available at the concession area.
PARKING
- Cars will be permitted in the Star Nursery Field with a parking pass purchased prior to or day of game.
- Fifty (50) parking spots will be available in the student tailgate area on a first come, first serve basis.
ALCOHOL
-Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at concessions within the tailgate area.
-No alcohol containers will be allowed to be brought into the Star Nursery Field.
- Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed using disposable cups.
SOUND SYSTEMS
-No amplified music. (with the exception of ISP corporate sponsor and CSUN)
- No public address systems. (with the exception of ISP corporate sponsor and CSUN)
PETS
- No pets are permitted in the tailgating area.
