The Vow

If you haven’t already heard about this romantic novel then you might be missing out on one of the years’ newest love stories. Krickitt loses her memory and doesn’t recognize her husband, Kim, after a brutal car accident. He stays with her, hoping she will fall in love with him again. This story is very inspiring, giving the message that true love can never leave the soul even if the mind forgets. There is also a film based on the novel released this month. Read the book then give your imagination the view of undying love.

Great Expectations
by Charles Dickens
A boy who rises from the lower to luxurious class realizes life is not what he had imagined. Questions of his morality are challenged and the only person he has to count on is himself. He learns that money changes everyone around him for, both better and worse. This story has shady lovers, thieves and murderers. This book poses the question: What would you do if you had something as powerful as money? The series of events Pip goes through can test your brain to see what track it’s headed as well. Most people say you need guts to read this book. Do you have it in you?

The Night Circus
by Erin Morgenstern
This novel opens up with a quote from Oscar Wilde that has you imagining from the get-go: “A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.” Morgenstern fills this book with many perspectives that gives the reader chills from the unimagined world. For all the dreamers out there, this book is sure to test the fire in your chest. If it truly is strong enough the brutal truth of this book shouldn’t put out your flame. Give yourself a test. No one is better at it than you. The writing of this author is intriguing, making you want you to slam it down and prove her wrong.
