YACHT, The Whigs, CSS and more announced to play Las Vegas indie music shows

For anyone who has ever been to a music festival, this means you’ll have your work cut out for you if you want to make it to all of the city’s best shows.
Compared to September’s Neon Reverb festival, this year’s run is already shaping up to be better. Despite the then-new support from shoe company-gone-cultural-liaison Zappos Inc., Neon Reverb drew some heat from locals who were upset with the lack of headliners on the bill.
This year, the guys behind the festival — James Woodbridge, Thirry Harlin and Jason Aragon — have booked some solid national acts, specifically electro-pop group YACHT and indie synth-rockers VHS or Beta for an all-ages show featuring local band Kid Meets Cougar.
As for The Pastel Project, The Royal House has been discreetly hard at work booking bands leading to the festival’s official announcement on Friday.
Already confirmed to play The Pastel Project are The Whigs, The Album Leaf, CSS, Tennis, STRFKR and more.
If you weren’t able to snag tickets to Coachella this year, hopefully next month’s lineup will have you wanting to plan a staycation, instead.
