METRO, SWAT RESPOND TO SUICIDE CALL

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and SWAT arrived at a residence across from UNLV after receiving a call from a male at 4:40 p.m. on Sunday who said he would commit suicide, according to Metro Lieutenant Craig Klatt. The area surrounding the 1300 block of Elizabeth Avenue was cordoned off while officials tried to reach the individual inside his apartment, but received no response. Authorities breached the residence to find the individual, in his mid-twenties, already deceased.
