Boyd mock trial event aims to teach teens about law
The William S. Boyd School of Law held a Mock Trial as part of its Street Law program on April 26th. The program teaches students about law and helps to promote civic awareness, helping to get them more involved in law. Initially started at Valley High School, Street Law has since moved to Clark High School. Saira Haseebullah, a second-year Boyd student and president of the Minority Law Student Association, said that the program will draw on average between 20-30 students, with an equal number of legal community members volunteering to aid the process.
