First cases of COVID-19 | WHO urges China to help share data

(Geneva) The World Health Organization (WHO) stressed on Thursday that it needed “all data” on COVID-19 to investigate the hypothesis of a laboratory leak in China and called on all countries to provide “including China” data on the first cases.

“Share data and allow samples to be re-examined […] is nothing more than what we are calling on all countries, including China, to support them so that we can move quickly and effectively into investigating the origins (of the pandemic), ”the WHO said in a statement.
