(Jerusalem) A Palestinian youth who was injured by gunfire by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday died of his injuries, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement.

The ministry announced that 12-year-old Mohamad al-Alami was killed in the town of Beit Omar, northwest of Hebron. He was seriously injured in the chest with his father in a car, the ministry said without further details.
A 41-year-old Palestinian was killed by Israeli gunfire late Tuesday evening at the entrance to a city in the occupied West Bank.
A 17-year-old Palestinian teenager who was injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers the previous day died in hospital from his injuries on Saturday.
During the clashes, Palestinians demonstrated against Israeli colonization and Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank, injuring 320 Palestinians, most of them with tear gas, the emergency services of the Palestinian Red Crescent said.
The West Bank has been a Palestinian territory occupied by Israel since 1967, and all Israeli settlements there are illegal under international law. More than 470,000 people now live in Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
